' DANCES WITH COLOUR'

TINA GORDON       ANNE MORRIS

OCTOBER 20th to NOVEMBER 9th

TINA GORDON works predominantly in acrylic building up a textural surface on the canvas before applying acrylic inks and paint. Oil pastels, graphite, charcoal and coloured pencils can then be added to the surface to create her semi-abstract landscapes. Atmosphere and a sense of place is what is aimed for.

ANNE MORRIS' paintings are semi-abstract. She likes to use acrylic paints and inks and works with a variety of collage materials and mark-making tools including stencils of various kinds.

She usually starts off with an idea for a combination of colours or an effect she would like to achieve an then lets the painting develop and change as it progresses.Anne aims to create lots of pattern and texture as well as exciting colours in her paintings.
